Hello, bonjour, guten tag, buenos diaz, hallo, hi, etc, anything you want. Whatever, welcome to the window to my life, assuming you care.

Well, Happy New Year is something I should probably start by saying, so "Happy New Year" Hope you all had a good Christmas and festive season, mine was good. Spent time staying at relatives' in Wigan, seeing friends, family, etc. Was generally ok; bit tedious at times, but hell, when is a visiting spree like that not?

Done quite a bit of work recently, so I'm quids-in, which makes me a happy guy Worked Thursday, Friday, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, got Tuesday off, and then did Wednesday, and I'm in again tonight. At least it'll help me while I'm saving for my car and whatnot, and I enjoy the work, so I'm not complaining.

Laptop's still as was - got XP Home on it, not XP Pro Tablet Ed, so I don't have Bluetooth or touch-screen at the moment; need a boot-able DVD Rom drive for it, for which I need the docking station. It'll all come, but not until about April, I should think. Meh, this'll do me for now, I suppose.

Ex-fucking-ams. I hate them. They start next week, and although I'm not dreading them, I really can't be arsed with them. Why the fuck do they have to put them in January, and require work over the festive period? Why? WHY? Sorry. Surely it would be tons more logical to have them just before you finish for Christmas, then they're done and out the way, and the closest exams you the have to worry about are May/June? When I'm the education minister...

Tidied my room the other day; went from being a tip to spotless, and now it's on the decline again, unsurprisingly enough. I'm hopeless at keeping a place tidy, but I can tidy it up no problem. Meh.
